On November 29, 2024, the Internal Medicine Department of International Higher School of Medicine held a WORKSHOP: Practical Skills in Therapy, dedicated to enhancing physical examination skills essential for effective patient care in medical practice.
Students from the 6th, 7th, and 8th semesters participated in this hands-on training. The event began with a masterclass where instructors demonstrated key examination techniques, including: • Palpation, percussion, and auscultation of the heart and lungs • Percussion and palpation of the liver, spleen, and kidneys
Following the demonstrations, students worked in teams, taking turns explaining and practicing these techniques. The interactive format ensured that every participant had the opportunity to refine their skills under expert supervision.
This workshop proved to be a highly informative, effective, and engaging experience, bridging the gap between theory and practice for future medical professionals. We extend our gratitude to the Department of Therapy for organizing such a valuable event
