From January 26 to February 6, 2026, a research internship for master’s students of Marat Ospanov West Kazakhstan Medical University (Aktobe, Republic of Kazakhstan) is being held at the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) within the framework of the academic mobility program.
A total of 18 master’s students specializing in public health and clinical medicine are participating in the internship. The internship is hosted by the Department of Public Health of IHSM.
The aim of the internship is to develop the professional and research competencies of master’s students through the study of modern theoretical and methodological approaches to scientific research, as well as to enhance skills in statistical data analysis, academic writing, and preparation of scientific publications.
Within the internship program, participants:
Special attention is given to publishing scientific articles in journals with an impact factor and to integrating young researchers into the international scientific community.
The implementation of this internship contributes to strengthening academic and research cooperation between IHSM and Marat Ospanov West Kazakhstan Medical University, as well as expanding opportunities for the professional development of master’s students within an international educational environment.

- receive consultations on the preparation of master’s theses and scientific publications;
- develop skills in academic writing and scientific communication;
- work with international databases and sources of scientific information.
