On April 21, 2025, the administration of International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) welcomed a delegation from Tartu University, Estonia. The visit was part of the Erasmus+ Key Action 1 program aimed at strengthening academic cooperation and mobility between the two institutions. The delegation included Professor Hans Orru, Head of the Centre for Sustainable Development and Professor of Environmental Health, along with Environmental Health Specialists Ene Indermitte and Triin Veber, from the Faculty of Medicine, Institute of Family Medicine and Public Health.
As part of the visit, the Tartu University delegation delivered a guest lecture “Research Directions and Main Study Findings in the Field of Environmental Health.” The lecture provided valuable insights into ongoing research and critical issues concerning environmental health, offering IHSM faculty members a broader perspective on global challenges and innovations in the field. The event marked an important step toward expanding joint educational and research opportunities between IHSM and Tartu University.
