In accordance with the order of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, a two-month campaign for sanitation, landscaping, and greening of territories is being held across the country from March 14 to May 16, 2026.
As part of this initiative, on April 4, 2026, the eco-club “Go Green IHSM” organized a clean-up event with the participation of active club members and IHSM students, under the supervision of Senior Lecturer of the Department of Humanities and club supervisor Aziza A. Ajibekova.
The event was aimed at fostering environmental awareness and instilling eco-friendly habits among students. The motto of the clean-up was inspired by the words of the prominent statesman of Kyrgyzstan, I. R. Razzakov: “If I am clean, if you are clean, then society will be clean.”
During the clean-up, participants cleared the forest park area near the Clinical Simulation Center of IHSM, as well as the adjacent section of Molodaya Gvardiya Boulevard. The work was carried out in an organized, coordinated, and highly enthusiastic manner.
The event concluded in a warm and friendly atmosphere: after the work, participants relaxed together and traditionally enjoyed ice cream, which became a pleasant ending to the day and a symbol of team unity.
The clean-up made a meaningful contribution to improving the environmental condition of Bishkek, strengthened teamwork, and promoted a respectful attitude toward nature. Participants expressed their willingness to continue actively engaging in environmental initiatives within the framework of the “Go Green IHSM” eco-movement.
IHSM consistently supports and promotes environmental initiatives, fostering a sense of responsibility toward the environment among students. These values and practices extend beyond Kyrgyzstan to the countries from which our students come, contributing to the development of a global environmental culture and a sustainable future.
