On February 24, 2025, the “Adabiyyat” Literature Club hosted an inspiring meeting dedicated to “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” and the creative legacy of Douglas Adams.
The event began with an insightful presentation by Gautam Narang, who guided us through Adams’ life, career, and the lasting impact of his works on science fiction and pop culture.
We delved into discussions on the novel’s philosophical themes, its satirical take on life, and the unforgettable characters. The conversation was lively, thought-provoking, and full of diverse perspectives.
A special highlight of the evening was a guest appearance by Abbas Khan, an IHSM student, who introduced his debut book “How We Met”— the first part of his upcoming series. His journey to publication inspired us all and sparked numerous questions about writing and publishing.
We wish Abbas all the best with his creative endeavors and good luck on his literary journey.
It was a fantastic meeting, bringing together fans of fiction, sci-fi, and aspiring authors
