Educational Course on International Student Recruitment
Makhabat K. Karagulova, Ph.D. (Philology), Associate Professor and Head of the International Affairs Department at the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM), along with Asel J. Abdyldaeva, Head of the Admission Sector, took part in an educational course organized by the Association of Eastern European Universities (EEUA). The program, held from February 12 to 14 in Moscow, was designed for university international department staff, focusing on modern tools and strategies for recruiting international students.
The course offered participants valuable insights into effective methods for attracting international students and strategies to improve university enrollment processes. Attendees also evaluated their institutions' online resources, refining them to better engage potential applicants. A key focus of the training was equipping universities with tools to build stronger connections with prospective students.
By mastering high-quality applicant processing techniques and effective communication strategies, IHSM representatives acquired valuable expertise that will enhance the university’s international outreach efforts.
