IHSM Students Celebrate Linguistic Diversity at International Mother Language Day Festival
21 February- In celebration of International Mother Language Day, members of Talents: The Arts-Club of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) took part in the cultural festival “Language is the Soul of the Nation”, organized by the City House of Culture “Dialog” under the Department of Culture of the Mayor’s Office.
Held on the eve of Defender of the Fatherland Day, the festival became a meaningful platform promoting unity, mutual respect, and cultural pride. The event brought together representatives of diverse cultures, with performances in Kyrgyz, French, Russian, Armenian, German, Hindi, and many other languages- each reflecting the rich history, identity, and spirit of its people.
The International Higher School of Medicine was proudly represented by Talents: The Arts-Club. Our members Shaiely Rawatkar and Dev Bharathi captivated the audience with a soulful Hindi musical performance, filling the hall with emotion, rhythm, and vibrant energy. Their heartfelt presentation was met with warm applause and left a lasting impression on all attendees.
Participation in this festival highlights IHSM’s commitment to supporting cultural dialogue, preserving linguistic diversity, and fostering intercultural understanding. It underscores the idea that language is not only a means of communication but also a powerful bridge that connects people beyond borders.
IHSM extends sincere gratitude to the organizers for providing such an inspiring platform and commends its talented students for representing the university with pride, creativity, and passion.
