The Rector of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM), Professor Stalbek M. Akhunbaev, held an official meeting with Professor Ralph Schermuly, representative of Justus Liebig University Giessen (Germany).
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation in the fields of medicine, science, academic mobility, and research. Special attention was given to strengthening international partnerships, exchanging experience, and implementing joint educational and scientific initiatives.
As a result of the discussions, the parties agreed to continue working on the development of cooperation. A follow-up visit by representatives of the university is planned for September 2026 for the signing of an official cooperation agreement between the two institutions.
