On October 28, 2025, a seminar “Implementation of Financial Planning. Diversification of Universities’ Income Sources” was held at the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov within the Erasmus+ DEFA project. Conducted in a hybrid format, the event aimed to introduce participants to practical approaches in financial planning and the diversification of income sources in higher education institutions.
Speakers from Talas State University and the International Higher School of Medicine shared their experiences in developing sustainable financial strategies and applying modern technologies in university financial management. Dr. Ainazik M. Omurzakova, Vice-Rector for International Affairs of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM), together withMadina I. Mairikova, Head of the Accounting Department of IHSM, spoke about the implementation of financial planning and income diversification strategies at our institution.
The seminar concluded with an active discussion and Q&A session focused on further prospects for strengthening financial sustainability within the academic sector.
