On March 23–24, 2026, the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) hosted a training dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the world’s open resource — the Wikipedia encyclopedia, as well as to the issues of editing and uploading articles.
The training was organized for IHSM staff responsible for the development of the state language and was aimed at developing practical skills in working with the Wikipedia platform.
During the training, participants learned the basic principles of writing encyclopedic articles, source requirements, and the rules for editing and publishing materials in the Kyrgyz language.
On March 24, 2026, the training was successfully completed. All participants were awarded certificates for their active participation.
In addition, the Rector of IHSM, S.M. Akhunbaev, presented a letter of appreciation and branded university merchandise to Elbek Bakhtiyarovich Khabibullaev for the high-quality organization of the training.
This event contributes to expanding the use of the state language, increasing the volume of high-quality content in the Kyrgyz language, and enhancing the digital competencies of specialists.
