The International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) is proud to celebrate the inspiring journey of its distinguished alumnus, Dr. Prince Philip, a graduate of the Class of 2010, whose dedication and accomplishments have brought pride to our school.
After graduating from IHSM, Dr. Philip cleared the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) in India, marking the beginning of a stellar career. He completed his internship at the Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi and later served at the Pushpawati Singhania Research Institute in New Delhi.
With a vision for greater horizons, Dr. Philip moved to the United States, where he successfully completed all steps of the United States Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE). He went on to pursue a Postgraduate degree in Internal Medicine at St. Michael’s Medical Center, New York Medical College, further cementing his expertise in the field.
In 2019, Dr. Philip achieved a remarkable milestone by joining the United States Air Force (USAF) as a Commissioned Officer and Flight Surgeon. Over the next four years, he served at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, providing medical care to service members from all branches of the U.S. military, including the Air Force, Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Space Force.
Today, Dr. Philip resides in Dallas, Texas, with his wife, Ziphora, and their three children. He currently serves as a Geriatric Physician at Oak Street Health, a healthcare network owned by the renowned CVS company. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and also holds a degree in Aerospace Medicine, showcasing his diverse expertise in both clinical and specialized fields.
