From June 1–7, 2025, the Minister of State for External Affairs and Environment, Forest & Climate Change of the Republic of India paid an official visit to the Kyrgyz Republic, engaging with the Indian community and key stakeholders. The International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) was represented at the event by Rector Stalbek M. Akhunbaev, IHSM alumnus Dr. Sunil Yadav, currently a representative of Med Edu Care Marketing, Mrs. Sandhya Yellampalli Coordinator of IHSM Issyk-Kul Campus and Dr. Pilla Amit Vikram from IHSM University Hospital VEDANTA.
During the meeting, IHSM shared notable achievements of its Indian graduates, many of whom have successfully passed licensing examinations and work all around the world. The event served as a valuable platform to highlight the IHSM`s role in training globally competent healthcare professionals and to discuss prospects for further cooperation in education and cultural exchange between India and Kyrgyzstan.
