It brought together participants from Central Asia—Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan—as well as international experts from countries including Iran, Estonia, the UK, Germany, Japan, and the U.S.

The event focused on public health challenges linked to climate change, covering topics such as environmental hygiene, food safety, and health system management. It aimed to support the implementation of national and international strategies toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The conference featured a plenary session and six thematic sections, with 64 expert presentations and 25 student talks. Leading researchers, healthcare professionals, and environmental specialists shared their findings and proposals.

UNICEF supported youth engagement activities during the event. Students from 10 Kyrgyz universities participated in three youth sessions, while 20 student teams competed in an eco-competition. A green exhibition showcased innovative environmental solutions.
Representatives from the Kyrgyz Ministries of Health, Natural Resources, and Education, along with various public and private institutions, also attended and contributed to the discussions.

Key priorities identified included climate risk assessment, new methods for diagnosing and preventing climate-related diseases, and modern approaches to protecting vulnerable groups. Future plans involve continued research and joint projects, with the best papers to be published in the Eurasian Medical Journal and by Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
