On May 30, 2025, as part of developing partnerships between educational institutions and regional clinical bases in the training of physicians, interns, and residents, a training seminar on the topic «Postgraduate Clinical Education» was held at the I.K. Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy with the participation of the academic and administrative staff of the International Higher School of Medicine.
The training seminar program covered the following topics:
1. Overview of interpersonal communication;
2. Interpersonal communication skills;
3. Training in procedural skills and practicing feedback provision;
4. Distance learning: platforms for mentors and trainees;
5. Practical session on using the mentor platform;
6. Requirements for clinical instructors;
7. Use of standardized assessment forms for monitoring and evaluating students’ knowledge and skills;
8. Curriculum for interns specializing in «General Practitioner» and «General Pediatrician»;
9. Intern’s logbook.
The training seminar received positive feedback from participants, who noted the high quality and relevance of the presented material, as well as the high level of professionalism and expertise demonstrated by the trainers.
Conducting the seminar was an important step in enhancing the qualifications of clinical faculty members, particularly in the application of standardized assessment forms, maintenance of the intern’s logbook, and implementation of training programs for interns specializing in «General Practitioner» and «General Pediatrician».
At the end of the seminar, all participants were awarded certificates.
