We are proud to share that the team “Hippocratic Hustlers” from the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) secured 3rd place at the International Student Olympiad “Medical Skills – 2026”, held in Bishkek on April 20–22. Scientific Supervisor - Dr. Nazira T. Kudaibergenova, D.Sc.(Medicine), Head of the Department of Internal Medicine.
The Medical Skills Olympiad brought together medical students from different universities, aiming to enhance clinical knowledge, practical competencies, and professional development.
The competition included three stages:
Theoretical round — testing knowledge through quizzes, case-based questions, and problem-solving tasks.
Practical round — hands-on clinical skills at simulation stations across multiple disciplines.
Final evaluation & awards ceremony
Participants competed in a wide range of medical fields, including internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, neurology, infectious diseases, and more, demonstrating both their knowledge and real-life clinical decision-making skills.
This achievement highlights the team’s dedication, teamwork, and commitment to excellence in medicine.
