On March 29, 2026, the Model United Nations (MUN) conference was held at Seytek STEM High School within the framework of the ECOFIN Committee, bringing together motivated young delegates for meaningful debates and diplomatic engagement.
The conference addressed a pressing global issue: “Sovereign Debt as a Geopolitical Weapon: How can countries protect their sovereignty while managing external debt?” The participation of 19 delegates in each committee ensured a diversity of national positions and fostered discussions on real-world political challenges.
Students of IHSM and active members of the Adabiyyat Literature Club - Raga Sai Sharan, Prajakta Pimpale, Sarkela Harshini and Sadekabanu Kodawala - proudly represented the university, demonstrating a high level of preparation, strong argumentation, confidence, and professionalism.
The conference became an important platform for developing participants’ research skills, critical thinking, negotiation abilities, public speaking, and global awareness - key qualities of future leaders.
