International Day of Immunology at the IHSM Issyk-Kul Campus

On April 24, the Issyk-Kul Campus of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) hosted a thematic event in honor of the International Day of Immunology. Organized by Vice-Dean Sagyndyk K. Venera, an expert in Immunology and Virology, the event brought together medical professionals including epidemiologist Nargiza I. Alagusheva, Dr. Ruchik, and representatives from the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service. A.I. Mambetova, Director of the IHSM Center of Secondary Medical Education (CSME), highlighted the vital role of immunology in training future healthcare professionals.

Held in collaboration with local CSME students, the event featured educational project presentations, a quiz, an open discussion, and a creative dance performance dedicated to immunologists. Attendees also viewed video materials on modern immunological research. The event aimed to raise awareness about the immune system and the crucial role of vaccination in disease prevention.
