Model United Nations Conference in IUCA

News Humanities Department
On April 18, 2026, students of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) and active members of the Adabiyyat Literature Club participated in the Model United Nations (MUN) conference held at the International University in Central Asia in Tokmok. More than 120 delegates took part in the event, working across six committees.

Representing the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) committee, our students discussed one of the most pressing international issues: “The Threat of Escalation of the Armed Conflict on the Durand Line and Its Impact on International Security.”

During the conference, participants actively engaged in debates, drafted resolution papers, and conducted international negotiations. IHSM delegates demonstrated a high level of analytical thinking, persuasive public speaking skills, diplomatic abilities, and commitment to the principles of global justice.

IHSM was proudly represented by talented students and active members of the Adabiyyat Literature Club: Harsh Gupta, Prajakta Pimpale, and Sadeka Kodawala. They showed excellent preparation, confidence, and the ability to work effectively in an international environment.

Awards and Achievements

At the conclusion of the conference, Prajakta Pimpale was honored with the prestigious Best Position Paper Award, recognizing her dedication, professionalism, and the high quality of her submitted work.

For all three students, this was not their first Model UN conference. Thanks to their previous experience, they once again successfully represented IHSM and the Adabiyyat Literature Club, confirming their high level of competence and leadership potential.

Participation in such international platforms contributes greatly to the development of diplomatic thinking, leadership qualities, public speaking skills, and intercultural communication among students.

We congratulate our delegates on their successful performance and wish them further achievements, new victories, and continued success on the international stage!
