On March 5, 2026, an exciting cultural event took place at the Department of Humanities, IHSM, dedicated to the Day of the Kyrgyz National Headwear – Ak -kalpak and National Flag Day (March 3).
Our Kyrgyz language teachers, together with talented students, organized a vibrant festive concert celebrating the beauty and traditions of Kyrgyz culture.
The audience enjoyed wonderful songs in the Kyrgyz language,
mesmerizing Kyrgyz dances,
and touching poetry performances.
An interactive game was also held, where participants learned fascinating facts about the symbolic meaning and history of the Ak- kalpak, making the celebration both fun and educational.
The event allowed everyone to immerse themselves in the richness of Kyrgyz traditions and became a bright highlight of our academic life.
