The International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) had the honor of hosting Angela Arnold, a member of the US Fulbright Scholar Program in Kyrgyzstan for a captivating seminar on the contrasting Education Systems in the United States and Kyrgyzstan.The event, held on June 2, 2023, at IHSM’s Humanities Department, provided students with valuable insights into the diverse approaches and methodologies employed in the two countries.

Angela Arnold, an esteemed scholar delivered an enlightening presentation that explored the similarities and differences between the US and Kyrgyzstan education systems. Drawing from her extensive research and experience, Arnold shed light on various aspects, including teaching methods, curriculum structure, assessment techniques.
IHSM students, eagerly gathered for the seminar, actively participated in discussions, asking thought-provoking questions and sharing their own observations about the education systems. 

The seminar was a testament to IHSM’s commitment to providing its students with a global perspective and a comprehensive understanding of different educational frameworks.Recognizing the immense value of international collaboration, IHSM has taken steps to further enhance its educational environment by planning to invite a scholar from the Fulbright Program for the upcoming academic year. The dedicated scholar will work closely with IHSM students, offering mentorship, guidance, and specialized knowledge in their respective fields.
