Obstetrics and Gynecology Examination Skills (Elective)

The course on the examination of obstetric-gynecological patients in a hospital setting is focused on developing students' skills in diagnosing and assessing the condition of patients with various obstetric and gynecological diseases. The course includes a detailed study of examination methods for women of reproductive age, as well as during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum periods.

It includes methods for collecting medical history, physical examination, laboratory, and instrumental investigations.

The knowledge gained during the course will help students develop practical skills in:
Detailed medical history collection for obstetric-gynecological patients.

  • Assessing clinical condition and identifying pathologies at early stages.
  • Applying various laboratory and instrumental methods, including ultrasound, colposcopy, hormonal, and microbiological tests.
  • Monitoring fetal condition during pregnancy using methods such as CTG and ultrasound.
