Students of the 10th semester represented the Department of Surgical Diseases at the VIII Annual Scientific and Practical Conference “Innovations in Medical Science and Education”, held on November 5–6, 2025, at IHSM.
The following presentations were delivered:
1.Muhammad Wahab, Narmin Fatima — “Advances in Laparoscopy and Robotic-Assisted Techniques”
2.Muhammad Waleed Khalid — “Comparative Evaluation of Modern Approaches to the Surgical Treatment of Chronic Anal Fistulas in Public and Private Clinical Settings”
3.Kashf Fatima, Sarah Iqbal, Osama Rahman — “Surgical Drains in Abdominal Surgeries: Clinical Analysis of Advantages and Disadvantages”
The scientific supervisor was Anarbaeva A.A., Assistant of the Department of Surgical Diseases.
The presentations demonstrated scientific relevance and clinical significance.
As a result of the conference, Muhammad Wahab and Narmin Fatima were awarded third place.
Participation in the conference contributed to the development of students’ research skills and effective representation of the Department of Surgical Diseases.
