Welcome to the Department of Surgery. The Department is a community of inspired scholars, creative scientists and enthusiastic staffs focused on advancing the research, teaching, training and service missions of International Higher School of Medicine. The focus of research in DS lies in the field of Hepatobiliary and GI Surgery, Endemic Goiter and Thyroid Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, Trauma and Joint Surgery, Phlebology, Oncogynecology and Leukemia.

The Department operates a scientific society for 4th and 5th-year students as students have acquired access to the Surgical Department Clinics to work with patients and participate in surgeries.
