We are International Higher School of Medicine, was established in 2003 and well-known as an ISM brand in the past. Nowadays, the International Higher School of Medicine is one of the largest and modern medical education hub in Kyrgyzstan. Our university has trained thousands of highly qualified doctors who are working in India and all-around the world. The IHSM has accreditation of the World Federation for Medical Education, which proves our international standards of medical education.

Our alumni continue their study and work not only in their home countries, but all over the world: in USA, Great Britain, Netherlands, Australia, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, United Arab Emirates and many other.

Morning Prayers

President Garber urged the campus community to seek opportunities for unity in a time of divisiveness at the first Morning Prayers ceremony of the new academic year.

Washington, D.C. visit

Alan Garber spoke with many students and alums during his visit to the capital city.

U.K. visit

President Garber toured Emmanuel College (the alma mater of John Harvard), and visited the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.

Organizational structure.

The International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) is organized in accordance with the main principles of international education standards, which are the key to success of the modern medical institution. The existing organizational structure of the School allows for the adaptation of external and internal educational policies in accordance with the values of our School, as well as offers a wide range of opportunities for IHSM administration, academic staff and students to participate in many areas of teaching, research and treatment activities. Trade Union Committee, Issyk-Kul regional campus, Clinical Simulation Centers, Medical Clinics - Vedanta and Vedanta Issyk-Kul, and three student organizations.
