We are delighted to announce that our project has been provisionally selected to participate in the Science and Technology Research Partnership for Sustainable Development (SATREPS) program,
supported by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST)!

SATREPS is a groundbreaking initiative in science and technology diplomacy that promotes international joint research using cutting-edge Japanese technologies combined with official development assistance (ODA) to address global challenges.

Our project titled "Development of a Satellite Data and a Regional Chemical Transport Modeling-based Air Pollution Assessment System and Formation of a Research Center for Air Pollution Studies" will be conducted in the Kyrgyz Republic under the leadership of Associate Professor Nobutoshi Nawa from Tokyo Medical and Dental University.

The aim of our project is to develop an innovative system for assessing air pollution using satellite data and regional modeling, while also establishing a research center dedicated to air pollution studies. This endeavor aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and underscores our commitment to advancing science and technology for sustainable development.

Stay tuned for more updates as we embark on this exciting journey towards addressing critical environmental challenges and promoting sustainable development!
