On October 15, 2024, the Department of Surgical Diseases, led by A.A. Anarbaeva, conducted a master class on desmurgy (medical dressings) for 7th-semester students.
During the session, future doctors learned essential desmurgy techniques, including the classification and proper application of medical dressings for various injuries. The following types of bandages were demonstrated:
Head bandages (capline, one-eye bandage)
Upper limb bandages (hand, forearm, elbow)
Lower limb bandages (shin, knee)
The students not only enjoyed the hands-on experience but also gained valuable skills that are highly relevant to everyday medical practice.
