From 4 to 8 November 2025, the International Association of Cancer Registries (IACR 2025) is hosting its Annual Scientific Conference in Izmir, Türkiye.
Associate Professor of Public Health Department, at the International Higher School of Medicine, PhD. Dr. Elena Ten, presented the results of a population-based study: “Cervical Cancer in Kyrgyzstan: Population-Based Trends in Stage and Mortality, 2016–2023.”
The presentation highlighted the urgent need to implement cervical cancer screening in Kyrgyzstan and to further strengthen the country’s population-based cancer registry as a cornerstone of epidemiological surveillance.
