IHSM Delegation Visits Institute of Science Tokyo under SATREPS
On April 21–22, 2026, a delegation from the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM), led by the Head of the Department of Public Health, Associate Professor Kenesh O. Dzhusupov, Ph.D. (Medicine), Professor Ainash A. Sharshenova, D.Sc(Medicine) and Lecturer Marina K. Duishenkulova, visited the Institute of Science Tokyo as part of the SATREPS project, Japan.
On April 21, a working meeting was held with the Vice President for Biomedical Engineering, Professor of Technical Design and the Center for Medical Innovation, Koji Fujita, who presented the institute’s concept and key areas of activity. Dr. Ryo Sato introduced the IHSM representatives to the structure and departments of the institute.
As part of the visit, the delegation also toured the university hospital, where they explored the organization of healthcare services, hospital structure, and the implementation of advanced technologies, including patient monitoring systems and digital medical solutions.
On April 22, Professor Nawa Nobutoshi, PhD student Asanbek k. Aiperi, and the IHSM team discussed the upcoming stages of the SATREPS project. The discussion focused on methods for assessing ambient and indoor air quality, data collection (field and satellite), monitoring and analytics tools, and future steps for collaboration.
The meeting between project participants from Japan and the Kyrgyz Republic marked an important step toward the successful implementation of the SATREPS initiative.
