The International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) continues to actively strengthen international academic cooperation and expand scientific collaboration with leading educational institutions across the region.
Within the framework of a cooperation agreement between medical universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan and IHSM, the Department of Public Health is hosting a research internship for doctoral candidates from leading Kazakhstani universities.
The internship is conducted under the scientific supervision of Kenesh O. Dzhusupov, Head of the Department of Public Health, Ph.D. (Medicine), Associate Professor. The programme participants include T. Nurpeisova and A. Abilova, doctoral candidates from the West Kazakhstan Marat Ospanov Medical University, and B. Ibraimova, a doctoral candidate from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
During the internship, young researchers gain experience in contemporary public health research methods, evidence-based approaches, and international practices in population health data analysis.
The programme includes participation in departmental scientific seminars, discussions of ongoing research projects, and consultations with IHSM experts regarding doctoral dissertation topics. Particular attention is devoted to public health challenges in Central Asia, healthcare organization and management, and modern epidemiological research methods.
Such initiatives contribute to strengthening academic partnerships, promoting scientific exchange, and fostering closer cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan in the fields of medical education and research.
