Operational surgery

Operative surgery is very essential in the system of training a doctor. In the curriculum, it is at the junction of theoretical and clinical disciplines. The teaching of operative surgery is based on the presentation of anatomical data in relation to the needs of the clinic, especially in relation to the clinical sections of medicine. Operative surgery follows, first of all, as an applied anatomical and surgical discipline.

When studying operative surgery, students gain the skills to perform a number of simple interventions: for example, primary surgical treatment of wounds, bleeding arrest, puncture of joints, pleural cavities, stitching intestinal sutures.
