Delegation of International School of Medicine (ISM IUK) led by the Vice-Rector for International Affairs Dr. Aidaraliev A. and Dr. Ali Sarwar visited People`s Republic of Bangladesh on 17-21 of May 2017.

The purpose of visit was to establish collaboration with the universities of two countries; accreditation of ISM in Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BM&DC) as well as an attraction students from People`s Republic of Bangladesh for study in IUK.

BM&DC is a statutory body with the responsibility of establishing and maintaining high standards of medical education and recognition of medical qualifications inPeople`s Republic of Bangladesh. It registers doctors to practice in People`s Republic of Bangladesh, in order to protect and promote the health and safety of the public by ensuring proper standards in the practice of medicine.

During the meeting with the administration of BM&DC issues on medical training of citizens from People`s Republic of Bangladesh were discussed. It has been made clear that there are no obstacles for Bangladesh citizens to pursue medical education in International School of Medicine in Kyrgyzstan.

It was underlined that first graduate of ISM IUK Mr. Muhammad Shaheen had successfully passed BMDC qualification exam and was listed among top ten applicants.

It was also noticed that according to BMDC rules all candidates must receive eligibility certificate before going to study abroad to be eligible for admission to qualifying exam upon graduation.
