Conference AimThe conference aims to create an international professional platform for exchanging knowledge, scientific results, and practical experience among researchers, clinicians, public health specialists, and international experts in the fields of
infectious and food safety.
The conference will focus on current issues in infectious, tropical, and parasitic diseases in the context of cross-border risks, global population mobility, and modern biosecurity challenges. Special attention will be paid to the integration of scientific research and clinical practice, the development of international cooperation, and improving healthcare systems’ preparedness for prevention and response to biological threats.
SCIENTIFIC TRACKS OF THE CONFERENCEInfection prevention:1. Infection prevention in the context of globalization and regional mobility
(cross-border biological threats, the impact of migration, tourism, and climate change on the spread of infections, international and regional cooperation in epidemiological surveillance)
2. Acute infectious diseases, including intestinal infections, as a public health priority
(epidemiology, clinical aspects, prevention, and rapid response to outbreaks of acute intestinal infections)
3. Emerging and imported infectious diseases
(arboviral infections, malaria, and other vector-borne diseases; assessment of introduction risks and measures to prevent spread)
4. Viral hepatitis as a pressing Infection prevention issue
(epidemiological trends, modern approaches to diagnosis, treatment, and prevention; discussion and implementation of clinical protocols)
5. Antimicrobial resistance as a global and regional challenge
(monitoring systems, rational use of antimicrobial agents, interdisciplinary and international counteraction strategies)
6. Modern clinical and laboratory diagnostic methods for infectious diseases
(molecular genetic and genomic technologies, laboratory quality assurance)
7. Prevention of infectious diseases and infection control
(vaccination, chemoprophylaxis, infection control, and emergency preparedness)
8. Food safety
Food safety:- Food safety as a public health factor
- Modern scientific and practical approaches to ensuring food safety, sanitary supervision, and food risk management. The impact of unsafe food products on morbidity and public health structure.
- Rational nutrition and prevention of diet-related diseases
- The role of balanced nutrition in preventing micronutrient deficiencies, obesity, metabolic and other nutrition-related disorders. Formation of sustainable healthy dietary habits in the population.
- Food security and nutrition of vulnerable population groups
- The impact of food insecurity and limited access to quality nutrition on the health of children, pregnant women, and socially vulnerable groups. National and international support mechanisms and prevention of nutritional risks.
- Quality and safety control of food products
- Modern methods for assessing food quality, laboratory and epidemiological control, food safety assurance systems at all stages of the food chain — from production to consumption.
- Intersectoral cooperation in nutrition and food safety systems
- Coordination between healthcare, sanitary and epidemiological services, education, agriculture, and other sectors in building sustainable and safe food systems.
Target audience Infectious disease physicians, epidemiologists, gastroenterologists, general practitioners, pediatricians, immunologists, laboratory diagnostics specialists, researchers and faculty members of medical universities, public health professionals, young scientists, and students of medical and biomedical disciplines.
