Students come to IHSM from different countries, each bringing their unique culture, traditions, and way of life. The primary goal of the administration and faculty is to help them adapt to the new environment. Sometimes, simple information about renting housing, where to buy clothes, and groceries is essential for students to live a normal life. We provide students with accommodation in student dormitories.
IHSM dormitories are a unique place for living, exchanging ideas, and sharing knowledge. They mainly house students from India and Pakistan. Near the dormitories, there are cafeterias serving national cuisine. In addition, each dormitory is supervised by IHSM faculty and supervisors from India, Pakistan, and other countries who assist students during their adaptation period in a foreign environment and help maintain their physical and mental well-being. IHSM dormitories are equipped with the most modern security systems. Therefore, students living in the dormitories feel comfortable, trusted, and free.
Our students undergo an annual medical examination and receive qualified medical care within the framework of the state mandatory health insurance system. Having a valid insurance policy guarantees access to a wide range of free services:
• Thanks to the insurance system, students have access to specialist consultations, laboratory diagnostics, and X-ray examinations.
• The annual medical examination is carried out at a state clinic and is fully covered by insurance.
We strive to ensure that our students develop into well-rounded individuals, which is why they are provided not only with accommodation and medical care but also with social, cultural, and sports activities where they can showcase their talents. They have the opportunity to create interest groups, attend dance classes and vocal lessons with the music group “Sensation,” join sports sections for cricket, football, volleyball, and chess, as well as become members of existing student organizations such as the “IHSM Student Council,” “Tunduk,” and the Art Club “Talents.”
The “IHSM Student Council” is the main and sole representative of students within the university administration and the executive body of student self-government, elected by IHSM students. The main goal of the Student Council is to define and protect students’ rights, ensure the welfare of the entire student community, facilitate student participation in IHSM’s overall management, and represent their interests in administrative, academic, and extracurricular matters.
The independent student organization “Tunduk” aims to unite students, promote cooperation, and create a favorable environment for inter-university interaction, facilitating experience exchange, expanding academic and social connections, and developing leadership and organizational skills among students.
The Art Club “Talents” is dedicated to the comprehensive development of students’ creative abilities and their active participation in the university’s cultural life through the organization of concerts, exhibitions, festivals, theatrical productions, master classes, competitions, and social initiatives. The club also fosters leadership qualities, self-confidence, teamwork skills, and creative thinking.
The diversity of student life allows IHSM students not only to broaden their educational opportunities but also to take an active life stance, develop their creative abilities, pursue self-improvement, and experience life in all its vibrant manifestations. The administration and faculty make every effort to ensure that, upon returning to their home countries, international students become cultural ambassadors of IHSM.
