ACCREDITATION OF ISM IN IAAR
A visit of the External Expert Commission of the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR) on international institutional accreditation of the International Higher School of Medicine (ISM) is planned to be held on November 12th -14th 2019.
ISM was established in 2003. The main priority for the creation of the School was the strategy of reforming the educational system of Kyrgyzstan and increasing its competitiveness in the international market.
Therefore, the creation of a modern, dynamic educational institution providing high-quality education and having a competitive potential in the education market has become the main priority for the administration of ISM.
ISM is a modern university with a developed infrastructure and a serious teaching staff, which has a reputation in various fields of medicine both at the state and international levels.
Foreign citizens of the following countries study at the ISM: India, Pakistan, South Korea, Afghanistan, Great Britain, Nepal, Bangladesh, Maldives, etc. The training is conducted in English. More than 3,500 students are enrolled in ISM currently; about 90% of them are students from India. This is evidence of the popularity of the medical school and shows that further efforts to develop the export of education have its prospects.
