International Language Forum Of Turkic-Speaking Peoples

Vice-Rector for scientific affairs and the state language, D.Sc. (Medicine), Professor Orozaly. J. Uzakov and the Head of the State Language Department Rima J. Zaiyrkulova participated at the International Language Forum Of Turkic-Speaking Peoples dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the adoption of the Law on the State Language. This event was organized by the National Commission on the State Language and Language Policy under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, with support from the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic and the International Organization TURKSOY. It marked the first time such a forum was held in Kyrgyzstan.

The forum brought together representatives from various Turkic-speaking regions and countries, including Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Karakalpakstan, Turkmenistan, Yakutia, the Altai Territory of Russia, Hungary, Germany. This diverse participation reflects the importance of the event in promoting linguistic and cultural exchange among Turkic-speaking peoples.

The adoption of the Bishkek Declaration as a result of the forum signifies a collective commitment and agreement on key language-related issues among the participating nations and regions. Such international gatherings play a crucial role in fostering cooperation, preserving linguistic diversity, and strengthening cultural ties among Turkic-speaking peoples.
