KYRGYZSTAN EXTENDS STATE OF EMERGENCY UNTIL APRIL 30 OVER COVID-19
President Sooronbai Jeenbekov today has signed the order extending the state of emergency in Bishkek, Osh, Nookat and Kara-Suu districts of Osh region, Suzak district of Jalal-Abad region until April 30.
The order enters into effect since its signing and will be submitted to the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan for approval.
The state of emergency was declared in above areas from March 25 to April 15 to contain coronavirus.
As of April 14, Kyrgyzstan confirmed 430 cases, including 5 deaths and 71 recoveries.
