Dr. Alfisa M. Orozalieva, Ph.D (Medicine), Associate Professor, a lecturer in the Special Clinical Disciplines Department of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM), recently attended an intensive Otolaryngology Seminar organized by the Open Medical Institute (OMI) in Salzburg, Austria. Held from October 27 to November 2, 2024, the seminar gathered a diverse group of medical professionals from 33 countries, fostering a global exchange of medical knowledge and best practices. 

 OMI’s mission is to elevate healthcare standards worldwide by equipping medical professionals with advanced skills and knowledge to implement impactful healthcare solutions in their home countries. Dr. Orozalieva contributed to this mission by presenting her research on "Return to Cannula-less Tracheostomy," a topic of growing relevance in otolaryngology. Her presentation highlighted innovative approaches to tracheostomy procedures, adding a valuable perspective to the seminar’s discussions.
