Let us introduce our graduate – Dr. Ishtiaq Ahmad, MBBS, Ph.D., graduated from IHSM in 2015 and in April 2017 enrolled as a Ph.D.student at the Graduate School of Medicine, Juntendo University, Tokyo, Japan, a higher ranked University in Asia, and recently got his Ph.D. Degree in Medicine.

During his 4 years of research in Japan, he got the following scholarship and award:

-Japanese Government （Monbukagakusho: MEXT） Scholarship

-JICA research assistantship

Moreover, Dr. Ishtiaq Ahmad participated in international projects and research grants:

-Grant winner and the Principal Investigator of Pfizer Foundation Japan Type diabetes Project, 2018-2020

-Co-investigator, Asian Initiatives of Sustainable Healthy and Ageing Society (Japan, Singapore, Korea, Thailand, Myanmar, and Pakistan) 2018-2021, Multilateral grant and Juntendo University, Tokyo
