The administration of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) is delighted to share that M.D., Ph.D., Senior instructor Dmitry V. Vishniakov and Vice head of the Public Health Department, M.D., Instructor Marina K. Duishenkulova were awarded certificates in grateful recognition of their time as a TUTOR (from October 2021 to May 2022) in building multicultural and interprofessional collaboration through the International Student Training & Exchange Program iSTEP on Social Determinants of Health. 

IHSM is a member of the TUFH Network since 2019 and has successfully completed 2 programs. 60 students and 16 academic faculty members of the IHSM had an opportunity to participate in an annual Health Program conducted by TUFH (Towards Unity for Health)

ISTEP courses are credit-bearing program.

◾Time: 8 monthly 2-hr sessions / 1-2 times per week in the evening.
◾Duration of an online course: from 20 October 2022 to 18 May 2023.

Upon completion of the course, students will receive a certificate with credit hours.
