SEVERAL MEMORANDUMS WERE SIGNED TO BUILD KYRGYZ-CHINESE RELATIONSHIP IN MEDICINE

On October 10, 2018, a delegation from the People's Republic of China headed by the professor, director of the cardiology department of Beijing University Hospital Mr. Ho Yong arrived in the Kyrgyz Republic to participate in the jubilee decade dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Academic Consortium "International University of Kyrgyzstan".

 

On the same day, the Chinese delegation met with the Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic. G.K. Kudaiberdiyeva, Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic. K.S. Cholponbaev, President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic. M.S. Dzhumataev.


During the meeting, the possibilities of creating an association of cardiologists and the Kyrgyz-Chinese Center for Prevention of Cardiovascular Diseases and other relevant health issues were discussed. After the meeting, the delegation visited the National Center for Oncology and Hematology of the Kyrgyz Republic.


On October 12, 2018, the following agreements were signed:

1. Creation of the Association of Cardiologists “One Belt-One Way” between the Chinese Cardiovascular Association (CCCA) and the Academic Consortium “International University of Kyrgyzstan”,


2. Establishment of the Kyrgyz-Chinese Center for Prevention of Cardiovascular Diseases between the China Cardiovascular Association and the International University of Kyrgyzstan Academic Consortium,


From 13 to 14 October 2018, the Chinese delegation visited the Regional Issyk-Kul campus of the International School of Medicine (ISM) in Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul region.


During the working visit, the Chinese delegation got acquainted with the infrastructure and faculty of the regional Issyk-Kul campus of the ISM, and also visited the Ruh-Ordo Cultural Center, on the shores of Issyk-Kul Lake, Cholpon-Ata, and were acquainted with dozens of sculptures and hundreds of paintings made in a variety of techniques, handicrafts, which are carefully passed from generation to generation.
