TRAUMATOLOGY, ORTHOPEDICS AND EXTREME SURGERY

 

The nature of injuries has significantly changed. The number of road traffic accidents is increasing with the frequency and severity of multiple and combined injuries with the number of stab and gunshot wounds being on the rise, there is still a tendency to an increase in the number of technological and natural disasters, social conflicts, in which the proportion of injuries is extremely high. All this, urgently requires the improvement of medical education, strengthening the theoretical and, especially, practical training of medical specialists.
