Education quality is a characteristic of an education system, reflecting a degree to which actual achieved educational results correspond to regulatory requirements, social and personal expectations. Quality is one of the key criteria for development of education systems. It indicates the level of knowledge acquired by students at a particular training institution. Students, their parents, employers, and, especially, the whole society, are interested in receiving education of high quality by the students.
Education quality includes three main characteristics:
- education content;
- education process;
- education result.
Determination of a level of goals' achievement by education quality management includes availability of an effective methodology for assessing such quality.
