LABORATORY ANALYTICS AND DIAGNOSTICS

The need for timely detection of pathological processes determines the priority of laboratory analytics and diagnostics - a young branch in world medical science and practice. Modern laboratory analytics and diagnostics make it possible to answer the most important questions that arise for doctors during the examination of patients, and makes it possible to characterize changes in the human body at the cellular, subcellular and molecular levels.

The elective course «Laboratory analytics and diagnostics» is intended for 2nd year students majoring in General Medicine. Upon completion of studying the discipline, students will master the fundamental principles of the methodology of laboratory practice, techniques of non-laboratory research, skills and abilities in working with equipment, setting up a biochemical experiment and analyzing clinical indicators necessary to confirm the diagnosis.
