International Mother Language Day

The International Student Network “ISN - TUNDUK” @isntunduk of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) marked International Mother Language Day on February 21st, 2024, with a vibrant celebration of linguistic and cultural diversity.

Students and members of the music and cultural group “Sensation” @ismthesensation from IHSM, and guests from the I.K. Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy, participated in a dynamic display of culture encompassing dance, painting, singing, poetry, and more.

The event, organized by ISN TUNDUK, served as a testament to the rich tapestry of languages and traditions that unite our global community. In a stirring address, Dean of IHSM - Ainura M. Satarkulova, and Head of State Language - Rima Zh. Zaiyrkulova, underscored the significance of preserving and celebrating our mother tongues.

As we reflect on the essence of International Mother Language Day, let us reaffirm our commitment to honoring and promoting the diversity of languages and customs that enrich our shared human experience.
