Scientific achievement

The Administration of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) extends its warmest congratulations to Tatiana V. Kostritsyna, Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Natural Sciences  Disciplines at IHSM, on her recent scientific achievement. Tatiana V. Kostritsyna in collaboration with esteemed researchers including David Tricon, Julie Faivre d’Arcier, Jean-Philippe Eyquard, Shuo Liu, Stéphane Decroocq, Aurélie Chague, Weisheng Liu, Gulnara Balakishiyeva, and others, has authored a groundbreaking scientific article titled "Allele mining of eukaryotic translation initiation factor genes in Prunus for the identification of new sources of resistance to sharka”.

The abstract of the article encapsulates the essence of the research, focusing on the investigation of allelic variants in eukaryotic translation initiation factor genes (eIF4E and eIFiso4E) within the Prunus genome. The findings of this research shed light on the genetic basis of resistance and provide valuable insights into potential strategies for mitigating the impact of viral infections in crop species, specifically within the Prunus genus.  Kostritsyna's dedication to advancing scientific knowledge and her significant contributions to the field of natural sciences are highly commendable.

The IHSM administration extends its heartfelt congratulations to Tatiana V. Kostritsyna and expresses best wishes for her future scientific endeavors. May this accomplishment serve as a stepping stone for many more pioneering research contributions that benefit society and the scientific community.
