The World Cancer Day

The World Cancer Day event unfolded with two distinct segments: a dynamic scavenger hunt followed by an engaging quiz competition. During the scavenger hunt, teams, accompanied by OC members, decoded cancer-related symbols in the library, engaged in a balloon-popping game in the IHSM Students Council Room, and tackled jumbled word puzzles in Lecture Hall 102. After a midday break, the quiz competition commenced at 2 PM in Lecture Hall 102. Notable judges, Prof. Dr. Sidikova Margarita Mahamad-Rasulovna and Prof. Dr. Shirin Z. Beknazarova, oversaw the quiz. Round 1 featured general medical questions, with no eliminations. Round 2 tested pathology knowledge, leading to the elimination of one team.


A short film on Cancer Awareness followed Round 2. Round 3, focusing on clinical pharmacology, determined the winners based on final scores. Throughout, event coordination ensured the smooth progression of the event.
