World Heart Day 2023

On September 29, 2023, Beyshebay Kyzу Gulnura, Lecturer at the Department of Operative Surgery, and Uzakova A. Orozalievna, Lecturer at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, participated in an event dedicated to World Heart Day.

World Heart Day is organized by the World Heart Federation with the support of the World Health Organization (WHO), UNESCO, and other international organizations. It is observed every year on September 29th. On this day, events are held in most countries worldwide with the goal of raising awareness about cardiovascular diseases, their causes, and prevention methods.

On this day, our faculty members and students actively participated in a campaign aimed at raising awareness about cardiovascular diseases (CVD) and methods of prevention. They organized an initiative to draw attention to the importance of taking care of the heart and blood vessels for maintaining good health.

The event took place in the Ala-Archa Mountains. The objective of the activity was to walk 3 km and measure blood pressure before and after the walk. The event aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle.
