Assessment of echinococcosis prevention measures in the Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan (2023-2025)

The study is aimed at assessment of the effectiveness of primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention of echinococcosis in the Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan and to provide practical recommendations for healthcare of the Kyrgyz Republic

A survey of residents of the Issyk-Kul district of the Issyk-Kul region was carried out, an analysis of awareness of echinococcosis was identified, and the results of the study were presented at the Congress on echinococcosis, August 2023
