White Kalpak (Ak Kalpak) Day


On March 5, the professors of the Department  of Humanities of the International Higher School of Medicine: Kibrayeva Munira, Mukash uulu Talasbek and Mamytov Arkarbek hosted the festivity dedicated to the White Kalpak Day of the Kyrgyz Republic  with the students of the 8th semester. The festive event was opened by the head of the Department of Humanities Alymkulova Nuriya, who gave the floor to Professor  Uzakov Orozali,  Vice-rector of science and state language of the International Higher School of Medicine. He told the legend about white kalpak and congratulated the teachers and students of the International Higher School of Medicine with the White Kalpak Day. Talented students spoke about celebrating the White Kalpak Day  in Kyrgyz: they told about its origin, meaning, and types of kalpak, and presented their works in Kyrgyz, Kazakh, Hindi, and Russian. At the end of the event, the head of the Department of State Language Zairkulova Rimma expressed deep appreciation to the students who participated in the event and prepared it with the Department of Humanities at a high level.  Our students, who came from abroad and study medicine, familiarized closer with one of official holidays of the Kyrgyz Republic, the White Kalpak Day.
