CHILDHOOD DISEASES: PEDIATRICS
Qualified monitoring of a child can be carried out only by a doctor who knows the characteristics of the child’s body, the specifics of the main pathology of childhood, modern tactics of patient care and emergency care methods.
The course of pediatrics suggests that General Medicine students get more proficient in the features of diseases of the respiratory system, blood circulation, urinary system, gastrointestinal tract, as well as pathology inherent only in children i.e. constitutional abnormalities, rickets, spasmophilia, chronic nutritional disorders and rules for dispensary (check-up) observation of healthy and sick children in conditions of polyclinics.
